Emma, South Wales

Emma worked a 9-5 job for the council before deciding to take the plunge and run her own digital marketing business. Her intention was clear, she wanted to be her own boss so she could work on her own terms, around her young family. Things didn’t pan out that way! So, Stella had to take matters into her own hands and aimed to replace her income and quit the rat race for good. She craved financial independence as she didn’t like the thought of her financial destiny being in the hands of anyone else.

Linda, Aldershot

By profession, Linda is an experienced secondary school teacher and like a lot of people in her position she felt stressed out, over-worked, underpaid and underappreciated.

Amanda and Dan, Kent

Dan had always been a very hard-working young man; he’d grafted his way up from his late teens as an electrician and reached the point where his self-employed income was sufficient to look after his family.
